To Minimize the window, just click on the X in the upper right corner of the application. The current temperature will then be displayed in your Windows task bar.
To Maximize the window again, double-click on the 'DW' icon or the current temperature display in the task bar.
During severe weather warnings, you will receive a text crawl directly on your computer much like those you are familiar with seeing on television. The crawl may be preceded by an audible alert sound, to bring attention to your computer. When a weather alert or emergency is declared, it will sound a warning through the PC, followed by a pop-up screen explaining the type of alert.
