This state-of-the-art weather station from LaCrosse includes the base receiver station; three outdoor sensors (wind, rain and thermo-hygro); optional wired connection for data transfer to the base receiver; an AC power adapter; and software in CD-Rom format for transfer of data to your PC via a serial port cable.

The LaCrosse Professional Wireless Weather Center includes an atomic clock that is updated daily via radio signal from Colorado to within one second of official U.S. government time. The clock even updates automatically for Daylight Savings Tiime!

The 110-WS-16 Modular Weather Station is a computer-based meteorological system designed as a "user-friendly" solution for data storage and real-time monitoring of weather conditions.

The standard 110-WS-16 Modular Weather Station includes:

The unique modular system design provides plug-and-play functionality for adding or replacing sensors. The 110-WS-16D Data Acquisition Module is a direct
upgrade for existing 110-WS-14D Modules. Improvements include a larger non-volatile memory, selectable averaging intervals, 12 bit analog conversion, 0.1%
F.S. accuracy, two alarm outputs, and optional modem communications.

The WS-16 is supplied with an attractive desktop data acquisition module with a memory capacity of 128KB RAM (approximately 45 days at 15 minute
intervals with 6 sensors). The standard system includes a 120Vac power adaptor and RS232 serial port for connection to a personal computer. For outdoor or
remote applications, two enclosure options are available. One is for sites with AC power and the other utilizes a solar panel. Both options include a NEMA-4X
enclosure and rechargeable battery to allow continued operation in the event of power failure.

Data can be viewed using Windows HyperTerminal or other terminal programs such as Procomm. A one page real-time text display or an ASCII row and
column format may be selected. A menu is provided for setting the data and time, alarms, logging interval, etc. Optional graphical display software is available for viewing real-time and historical data charts and graphs.
